Our History and Lodges
White Oak Ranch was created over 24 years ago and is nestled in Eastern North Carolina’s Edgecombe and Pitt Counties about an hour and a half east of Raleigh. Comprised of 2,577 mostly contiguous acres of long term managed habitat for Whitetail Deer, Turkey and Bear.
White Oak Ranch was founded on the same QDM principles that its members successfully implemented on their leases in South Texas. These management practices have varied over the years from point and spread limit to eventually age structure to finally the one that works so well for our small group – limiting buck tags.

The main Lodge
The Main Lodge is in Edgecombe County and sleeps 14 people comfortably. It comes fully furnished with ample room for storage during extended visits. While staying at the Main Lodge there is access to a Rifle Range for either target practice, or siteing in guns. There are multiple back stops of varying distances as well as a shelter built with lights and fans to help keep you cool and shady on hot summer days. A very large Walk in Cooler is located right next to the custom cleaning and skinning facilities located directly behind the lodge.

White Oak has 37 Permanent Stands – 7 of which have full time feeders on bear poles spinning twice a day. Other stands have food plots and many are located on well-maintained dozer paths. White Oak is comprised of 60% Hardwoods/Pines/Cypress and 40% agriculture – beans, corn, peanuts, sweet potatoes and cotton. Corn is available for personal stands and can be purchased at our bulk price.
There are no mandatory work days. We do however encourage all members to be involved with the ranch year around.
The Annual Membership fee is $6,000 with a one-time new member fee of $500. Each Membership allows for 3 bucks inclusive of immediate family and guest, but unlimited Does, Bear, Turkey and Fishing. There is a Members Only set of dates spanning three weeks from the end of October through the first two weeks of November. White Oak typically kills 25 bucks and 40 to 50 does each fall season.
White Oak Ranch QDM management practices are based on three principals. Limit the buck tags to three with each Membership, kill twice as many Does as Bucks and lastly have fun and abundant fellowship while safely enjoying our Great Outdoors.
